God continues to grow epikos’s vision for mission, He has connected us with Dan & MeLinda Nelson, a church planting couple in Guadalajara, Mexico. We have an exciting opportunity to serve alongside them at a Missions Conference in Guadalajara by running a kids program and helping with logistics. We’ll also be helping with the early steps of the church plant. This is a great first step for those interested in international mission work!

Dates: Aug. 30–Sept. 8, 2017

Team: 10 people
Cost: Approximately $1,600/person (Participants raise support)
Training: Team Members will be trained in raising support and in engaging in cross-cultural mission work. First Training Session: April 17.
Complete Description: Help staff a local Mission’s Conference who serves between 300 and 500 locals. This team will help/run the kids program and help with logistics (registration, setting up rooms, serving lunch, etc.) The remainder of the trip will be spent doing a work project, prayer walks and/or handing out fliers for a new church plant.


  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be a regular attender, covenant membership is not required, but encouraged
  • Must have a teachable and flexible spirit
  • Must demonstrate a growing relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Must complete all pre-trip preparation
  • Must be in good physical and emotional health
