Connections Team

Join us in being the hosts and hostesses of our church! As part of the connections team you will prepare the vision inserts, greet people as they arrive at epikos, and help organize and clean out the seats before and after the service. The time commitment is one or two services a month, an hour before the service and 30 minutes after. For more information, please email:

Children's Ministry

  1. Nursery: At epikos, we love our children! By serving in the children's ministry, you will be helping to further our mission of making more and better disciples by bringing up the next generation in the knowledge of God and His promises. The time commitment is one or two services a month, from 15 minutes before the service starts until all parents have picked up their children. For more information, please email .
  2. Sunday School Teacher – Preschool Class: This is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys working with children ages 3 to 10. Our class meets during the 10:30 am service and volunteers are asked to commit to one or two Sundays a month. Teachers need to arrive 20 minutes before the service and stay until the last child is picked up. The class is structured providing a Bible story and memory verse each week. The teachers can choose to do a craft or activity of their choice to fill in the rest of the time. For more information, please email .

Building Cleaning and Maintenance Team

Are you a hands on type of person? Epikos relies on volunteers, who like to help out behind the scenes, for tasks such as snow shoveling, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, painting, and weed pulling. Serving on this team is generally a commitment of a few hours on one day every other week. For more information, please email

Hospitality Team

Do you enjoy working behind the scenes while serving others? Epikos likes to provide care for those going through life changes. The needs of this ministry vary from making cards of encouragement to making/delivering meals to families in need. If this is an area you would like to serve in, please email for more information.

Musical Worship Team

Do you love to worship God through song and have the ability to sing or play an instrument with excellence? The musical worship team is a group of committed musicians that help to lead our church in the exaltation of Christ through song. Musicians play about once or twice a month, which includes all 3 Sunday services. They rehearse once on Wednesday before the Sunday for which they play. Tech Team

Serving is a great way to worship God, and it is what we love to do as the Multi-Media Team. We work together, giving our time and talents to help others to better see and hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. We handle the audio, video, and lighting for Sunday services, as well as throughout the week. As fast as technology is growing, so is the need for more volunteers to serve on our team. If you have any interest in helping out, whether you are a regular ol' techie or totally helpless with computers, we would love to help you find a place to serve at epikos. Small Group Leaders

Small groups are an integral component of the vision at epikos. We want to make more and better disciples. Becoming a small group leader is a great way to join us in fulfilling this vision. Our small group leaders main goal is to facilitate discussion and lead the group towards unity. Training is provided, along with follow-up support and curriculum. The next training is August 28th from 12-3 pm in the epikos cafe. The time commitment is ninety minutes weekly for the group time, plus preparation and follow up with group members.
