Young Life

Young Life is a world-class ministry for adolescents. Young Life staff and volunteers enter the world of kids, focusing on what matters to them — fun, adventure, friendship and a sense of significance. In doing so, they earn the privilege of talking to them about something that matters most of all — the truth about Jesus Christ. Young Life is a national organization that was founded in 1941 by a pastor who wanted to spend time with kids who were disinterested in church. Today, you'll find Young Life in 54 countries and supported by 4,000 staff members, and more than 14,000 volunteers. Since epikos church doesn’t currently have a formal “youth group” many of our high schoolers and middles schools have found Young Life in Milwaukee to be a great way to connect with peers in a Christ centered environment.

High School Students

Weekly “Young Life Clubs” are held on Monday nights. What is it about Young Life Club that makes it the best night of the week for thousands of kids every week? We like to think of it as a party with a purpose. It's controlled chaos that's almost impossible to describe, but kids know it when they see it. And before the party ends, we share a simple message about God's love for them. After all, that's what the celebration is all about.
