EQUIP 201 MID-SIZE GROUPS

EQUIP 201 mid-size groups are regularly offered throughout the year for short four-to-six weeks stints. The topics vary and build on what you’re already learning through worship services and small groups. Reading the Bible Better – Starts 1/29 (five weeks)

We all know that reading the Bible is a good thing for growing in our relationship with God. The reality is that it can be difficult to get started. This class is designed to give you a process for understanding the original author’s intent and how to make valid applications to your life. Bring a Bible, a notebook and an eagerness to dig into the Word. Taught by Ryan Boyer.

Covenant Membership Class – 2/18 (Saturday, 8am-12noon)

Covenant Membership is something we greatly value at epikos. Come learn about what membership means and how it is lived out. This class is offered throughout the year, though in a multisession format. Taught by Ryan Boyer and Jacob Shatzer.

Credo: Ancients Creeds in Contemporary Practice – Starts 3/11 (four weeks)

Theology is inherently practical; or at least it should be! This class will look at some of the oldest Christian creeds (such as the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds) and see how these fundamental Christian truths have contemporary value in living out our faith today. Taught by Ryan Boyer.

For Better, Not Worse: Marriage Enrichment Class – Starts 5/6 (four weeks)

Marriage is an incredible gift from God and yet it takes work. This class will offer some practical ways to work better together as a couple. Drawing from Scripture, wise authors and lessons learned the hard way, this class will combine teaching with lively discussion. Taught by Ryan Boyer.
